St. Herman's House of Hospitality
St. Herman's is a monastery which follows the rule of St. Basil the Great (330-379) who was Archbishop of Caesarea, a Great Hierarch, and one of the Cappadocian fathers. St. Basil was known for his care of the poor and disadvantaged. His guidelines for monastic life focus upon community life, liturgical prayer and manual labor. We live here and our doors are always open to those in need, which is why we are known as a House of Hospitality.

The work of mercy is conducted by the Little Brothers and Sisters of Divine Compassion
at St. Herman's Monastery, House Of Hospitality.
St. Herman's was founded September 27, 1977 by Mother Mary Blossom (born 9/25/1884) and Father Gregory C. Reynolds. Mother Mary Blossom came here from Pleasant Hill, TN to establish St. Herman's. Our Order is known as the Little Brothers and Sisters of the Divine Compassion.
